For the first time since Valley City State University brought men's golf back as a varsity sport in 2009, the Vikings had two golfers named DAC All-Conference with seniors Taylor Henrickson and Ryan Mehus receiving the accolades for their performances during the 2011-12 season.

Henrickson had an impressive year winning three tournaments and finishing second in two tournaments. His best round came at the Jamestown College Fall Invitational posting under par for the 36-hole event and winning by four strokes.

Mehus made strides with three straight top-5 finishes in the spring and finished with five top-5 finishes on the season.

The duo has led the Viking men's golf team to a 2nd place finish in the DAC.
