The Valley City State men's golf team finished 4th at the Jamestown College Invitational held at the Jamestown Country Club. On Sunday, September 19th the Vikings opened the meet with a team score of 319. On Monday, September 20th they made a push to finish in the top half with a 311 for a two day total of 630. Minot won the meet shooting a team score of 602.
Individually representing the VCSU team, Blair Gilberts finished tied for 6th , earning his first top-ten finish of the season, Ryan Mehus finished tied for 11th, Taylor Henrickson finished tied for 14th, Ryan LeNoue finished 17th, and Dillon Bishop finished 24th. Up next, VCSU will compete at the Souris Valley Golf Course and Minot Country Club as part of the Minot State Invitational meet on September 26-27. The start times are scheduled for 12:30pm on Sunday, September 26th & 9:00am Monday, September 27th.
