The Valley City State University (VCSU) Men's Basketball program held their annual basketball camp June 18th through the 21st. The camp was attended by forty-five boys entering grades 2 through 10.

The VCSU camp has become known for teaching fundamentals of the game, introducing the youth to defensive concepts, and challenging their competitive side with daily contests and games.

Working the camp this year alongside the Viking Basketball Coaching Staff were current players Harrison Weber (Casselton, ND), Jason Perkins (Shakopee, MN), and Dillan Ostrom (Finley, ND).

At the conclusion of camp, the Viking Basketball Staff handed out three awards. The Most Improved Player award went to Jack Ingstad, Sully Breckheimer received the award for Best Defensive Player, and Hunter Burchill was named Viking Basketball Most Valuable Camper.
