Dennis McCulloch, head football coach at Valley City State University, has announced the hiring of Jake Breske to coach the quarterbacks at VCSU. He will join the Viking football program this summer.

Valley City State University Viking Football will hold its Team Camps on the VCSU campus next week, June 2-9. The campus will host more than 500 student-athletes and 60 high school coaches from schools in North Dakota, Minnesota and South Dakota.

The Viking Football 12th Man Club celebrated its annual Senior Appreciation Supper on Friday, May 10, in the Skoal Room of the VCSU Student Center. Twelve Viking football players and their families were honored at the event the night before VCSU’s commencement.

Valley City State Football is pleased to announce that Jake Thurston and George Trujillo have been selected as Viking Football captains for the 2013 season.

Viking Athletics will be hosting their annual “Bleed Cardinal” Blood Drive on Thursday, May 2nd in the VCSU Student Center Skoal Room.
