The Viking Century Club is the promotion and fund raising organization for the Athletic Department at Valley City State University. The Century Club operates in conjunction with the VCSU Advancement Office.

As a non profit club, the Century Club is responsible for raising the dollars necessary to fund athletic scholarships at the university. The Century Club is supported by the business community, alumni, and friends of VCSU athletics. The Century Club plays a vital role in continuing the rich tradition of Viking athletics. The dollars generated by the Century Club help attract quality student athletes to insure that the Vikings remain highly competitive in the DAC 10 Athletic Conference.

Your Century Club gift is tax deductible and an excellent investment in intercollegiate athletics at Valley City State University, allowing our student-athletes to compete successfully in the classroom as well as the sports arena.

The scholarships provided by the Century Club allow student athletes to defray a portion of their tuition, fees, books, and supplies to attend the university. The additional time demands of being an athlete often prevent these students from obtaining a part time job on the campus or in the community. The rising costs of higher education make the scholarships provided by the Century Club more important than ever.

If VCSU’s athletic programs are to continue to excel and be competitive, they will do so through financial contributions from individuals and organizations in the private sector. You, as a VCSU CENTURY CLUB MEMBER, will be a key component of the VCSU athletic team.

As a member of the Century Club, you can be actively involved in the education of our student-athletes through the funding of scholarships and share the distinction of being responsible for the continued success of the VCSU athletic program.

There are a variety of membership levels available for your consideration. The membership year coincides with the fiscal year, e.g., July 1st through June 30th. The official membership drive commences in late August and concludes in October. Your membership benefits are based on your respective level of giving.
