A day after stranding 23 baserunners over two games, the Viking baseball team transferred their trouble from the bats to the gloves.
The Vikings committed eight errors over two games Monday, dropping both ends of their double-header with Fisher College (Boston, MA) 10-4 and 7-4 in Brownsville, TX. Full Story - Click Here |

| BAB: Viking Baseball on the Move |

Valley City--Trips to warmer climates await the Viking baseball and softball teams in a matter of days, although the baseball team is making their schedule on the fly.
Both teams leave for their spring trips this week, with the Viking softball team on their way to Cocoa Beach, FL, for 12 games in six days. The baseball team will play 8 games while in Brownsville, TX.

The 2010 Baseball season is just around the corner and the Vikings are ready to face the tough challenge of climbing the standings in the DAC. The 2010 season was scheduled to begin with two double headers against Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, NE on March 6th and 7th. Weather has forced a change and the opener will now be played in the HHH Metro Dome on Monday March 8th vs. Minot State University at 9:45 PM. Full Story - Click Here |

| SB: Change in Vikings Schedule |

The Hastings College Softball Invitational schedule for Friday and Saturday, March 5 and 6 has been canceled due to weather.
The Viking Softball team has picked up two games on Friday, March 5 in St. Cloud in the dome. The Vikings will face fellow DAC team Mayville State at noon in a non-conference match-up and play versus Bemidji State at 2:00 pm.

Valley City--The Viking women are fast becoming a scary team to deal with.
The Vikings went on a 34-14 run, reversing a 12 point defecit, and eventually built an 11 piont lead, knocking off Dickinson State 56-50 in the opening round of the Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) tournament in Valley City Wednesday night. Full Story - Click Here |

Head women's volleyball coach Craig Case is pleased to announce the signing of Central Cass High School standout Trisha Goerts to a Dakota Athletic Conference Letter of Intent for Volleyball and Track and Field. Trisha was raised in Moorhead, Minnesota before moving to Casselton, North Dakota. She is the daughter of Joy and Mike Dunn. 'We're very excited to have Trisha join of our team,' commented Coach Case. 'She comes from a great high school program and she's going to develop into a strong college player for us here at
