| SB: Vikings Go 2-2 in DAC Tourney; Finish Season |

The Valley City State University Viking softball team finished its season this weekend at the DAC Tournament in Jamestown but they wouldn't go down without a fight. The Vikings entered the tournament the #7 seed based on conference winning percentage and battled the number two seed Minot State in two losses and knocked out to higher ranked seeds in the process.

| BAB: Conference Tourney Delayed Due to Weather |

Due to weather the DAC Baseball Tourney will be pushed back one day. The teams will not be playing on Friday. The schedule will resume on Saturday. Game times and matchups will be the same.

| BAB: Seventh Inning Surge Lifts Vikings Over Dakota State |

The Trojans struck first today, but it was the Vikings who struck bigger. After jumping out to a 3-0 lead after the first inning, the Vikings used a five run seventh inning to beat Dakota State in the opening round of the Dakota Athletic Conference 9-4.

| SB: Conference Playoffs Moved Back One Day |

The DAC Softball Playoffs have been moved to Saturday, May 3 and Sunday May 4 in Jamestown. The original dates were May 2 & 3. The change was made because of weather forecasts. The games will remain at the same times originally scheduled.
