Spearfish, SD--There is no comfort in first place in the Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) this year, but satisfaction can be found in a win at South Dakota Mines any year.

Spearfish, SD--For the Viking women, their road trip to the Black Hills started with a loss and added injury to injury.
Already hampered by an ankle injury to speedy point guard Caitlyn Wojahn (Jr., Milbank, SD), the Vikings will be without post leader Abby Rittenhouse (Jr., Burnsville, MN) after their 71-61 loss to South Dakota Mines Friday night. Full Story - Click Here |

Valley City State University Inks 15 Student-Athletes to Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) Letter of Intent.
Valley City, North Dakota - Valley City State University Head Football Coach Dennis McCulloch announces the signing of 15 prep standout football players to Dakota Athletic Conference Letters of Intent. This is the first group of 2010 VCSU Football signees and the group includes 10 from North Dakota, two from Minnesota, one each from Alaska, Hawaii, and Wisconsin. Full Story - Click Here |

| MBB: Vikings Defeat Minot State, Remain in First |

Valley City--The Viking men remain tied for first place in the Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) after an 83-74 win over Minot State in Valley City Saturday night.
The Vikings trailed by as many as 11 in the opening half, but rallied, cutting the lead to eight at halftime.
They began the second half with a 15-1 run, powered by Calvin Kraft. Kraft hit five threes in the second half, seven for the game, and finished with a game-high 23 points. Full Story - Click Here |
